19 Feb 10 Sony Ericsson Turned Down the Google Nexus One

If you I were in the shoes of Sony Ericsson, I may be regretting one decision right now. This involved potentially manufacturing the Google Nexus One, something that was turned down during the developmental stages. While Sony Ericsson cannot be totally blamed for wanting to stick to their branding, the opportunity lost is just something you have to ponder on.

Bert Nordberg, Sony Ericsson chief executive has no regrets though. Despite the popularity (and shortcomings!) of the Google Nexus One, branding comes first. Let us put it this way, would a big boss ever sulk and admit of how much profits they could have made? I think not!
