Here is another leak for you. The Motorola Droid 2 seems to be spotted as part of the Verizon Inventory where the number seen was set at 6,610. However, the stock inventory is expected to rise as the actual launch date draws near.
Technical specs were leaked as well and the phone was said to be set to come out by August 12.

A picture of the Droid 2’s packaging being printed in the plant has been spotted, which should very well reinforce rumors that the Motorola Droid 2 is set for an August 23 release.

The Motorola Droid 2 (A995) has popped up again, thanks to some photos received by Gizmodo. The phone is about the same size of the original one and will come with a wider QWERTY keyboard.
The Motorola Droid 2 is still running on Android 2.1 but sources say it will eventually come out using the Android 2.2. Among the specs of the Droid 2 include a 1GHz processor, and 8GB of internal memory. The phone is expected to launch in the coming weeks.

Thank the people over at Droid Life for these official leaked specs of the Motorola Droid 2. Now while you can now get a glimpse of the said phone, don’t get your hopes up. It seems that there is nothing much to see since it looks closely similar to the original Motorola Droid.
As for the features, it will feature a 3.7″ screen, a 750 MHz OMAP processor, WiFi, an internal 8GB memory, 5MP camera and will run on an Android 2.1 OS.
