Motorola has indefinitely delayed the Android 2.1 update for the T-Mobile Cliq and Cliq XT. Despite a scheduled update release by the second quarter (which incidentally is about this time), Motorola announces that “testing in process”.
In case you are wondering, that is short of saying that the update is not coming yet anytime soon. Well, I guess it is better to wait rather than release an update that may lead to more problems. Remember the HTC EVO 4G update that “bricked” a lot of handsets?

If rumors hold true, the Motorola Droid X may yet be coming out by July 2. This was the conclusion made based through careful parsing of a teaser video where it was noticed that at the end of the trailer there’s a slight flickering when the “07.2010″ graphic looks like it says “7.02.2010.”
The Motorola Droid X will come with features that include a capacitive touch screen that is 4.3” big, an 8 MP camera, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS. Chances are the Motorola Droid X would retail less than $200 after rebates with a contract.
