31 Aug 10 Verizon Wireless Adds New Mystery HTC Device

Mystery HTC DeviceA new HTC device is headed to Verizon Wireless and all we can make from it at the moment is that it looks closely similar to the HTC EVO 4G. It boasts of a polished and larger Nexus One body made of brushed aluminum steel.

Other features that were bared for now include 4.3″ display, an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash, a 3.5mm jack and a front-facing camera. No word yet on pricing and availability but perhaps it would be best to find out the actual model or name of this said device.

10 Aug 10 Motorola Droid 2 Now Available

Motorola Droid 2 Finally the Motorola Droid 2 is available for pre-sale. After some leaks and pops over at the Verizon inventory, it will officially be available for pre-sale starting tomorrow. It will come with the latest Android 2.2 OS.

The Droid 2 will retail for $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and a 2-year contract from Verizon Wireless Communications Stores starting August 12. If you want to enhance that with an optional 3G Mobile HotSpot service, then it will cost another $20 monthly, letting you share your Internet connection with another five compatible Wi-Fi devices.

15 Jul 10 Motorola Droid X Sold Out!

The initial batch of Motorola Droid X has been sold out. This is the first batch that were made available via the Verizon Wireless website where the highly touted Android phone will not be shipping until next week.

The flagship Android phone on Verizon will rock the 2.1 version of the software but the companies promised 2.2 will be coming by late summer. This will give you tons of new goodies like full Adobe Flash support and improved performance overall.

16 Jun 10 Droid X Launching on July 19?

Droid X Verizon may yet unveil another Droid handset this July and it could be the Droid X. According to rumors, the Droid X will be launching on the 19th of July and stores are expected to prepare through new window decors by July 18.

Of course this is another leak which can or cannot happen. Expect more information from it or see what happens about one month from now. Will the Droid X be out by then? Let us see.

HTC has reportedly started shipment of the CDMA version of the Google Nexus One to Verizon Wireless. But wait, didn’t Verizon claim that it will not market and sell the Google Nexus One?

Rumors have it that Google will be selling the Google Nexus One for Verizon through its site via the online-only model. If this is true, could it be that Verizon is acting as a satellite where customers can be referred to their Google Nexus One? The twist just keeps getting complicated but Google is obviously the one benefitting from it all!

10 Mar 10 Verizon Will Not Sell the Google Nexus One

Apparently there has been some confusion with regards to rumors that Verizon will be getting the Google Nexus One. Rather, they will be releasing a Verizon version of the said phone which will only work on the Verizon Wireless network. It appears that the mix-up sent some confusion.

Google will only be selling its Nexus One through its online store which seems to be a reason why the forecasts made by Goldman Sachs justifiable.
